Your Credit Score

Every day I am called by people asking about their credit score.

One of the best books I have read on the subject is Your Credit Score by Liz Pulliam Weston.

I learned a ton of things I didn't know about it before.

I have always said that I think your credit score is more important than your high school diploma.

Can your high school diploma buy you a home?

Not exactly.

With the sub-prime market gone, you need a minimum of a 620 credit score.

If you get a higher credit score, you can even get better rates, and possibly borrow more money.

Some of the chapters cover how to fix an error on your report, understand your FICO score, lighten your debt load, cut your credit card rates, use the new credit scoring system, lower your interest rate, implement fast fixes for your credit score, and how to save money.

This is the reader's digest version.

If you are serious about fixing your credit score, you have to buy this book.

I look forward to working with you.

SE Idaho Homes Credit Fix Program

Because I do so many rent-to-owns, I constantly get asked how I can fix people's less than perfect credit.

I honestly do believe that your credit score is more important than your high school diploma.

What you can buy really determines what you can do in life.

Knowing what you can and can't do financially can be answered by a good banker.

Of course, most people realize that paying your credit lines in a timely way is the best way to raise your credit score.

Length of time that you have had a credit line is also important.

Maxing out credit cards drops your credit score.

Applying for retail credit scores can also lower it.

Filing for bancruptcy and getting judgements on your credit also affects what you can do.

This actual issue is a complicated beast, and I don't claim to be an expert by any means.

I can have you work with my banker to coach you what you need to do to get your credit score up, but I also recommend reading up on it since even your banker doesn't really know everything.

You may want to call KC Kuttler, my banker, at 208-406-3834, and tell him you are working with Burke Bennett so that we can start helping you to get into a home.

I look forward to helping you fix your credit. I have several rent-to-own homes right now that you can rent while we fix your credit.

It does take time. Sometimes 6 to 24 months, which is ideal for my rent-to-own program.

Thanks,
